Training Status Allowance
Playing at national level, the advanced athletes training status is 3-4+ days per week


Sport Season Guideline
According to Volleyball England, the indoor volleyball season begins in September and ends in May, with the beach seasion commencing in May and finishing in Septemeber.


Training Frequency
As the athelte is in the 'in season' phase, training frquency is low, with each session short i.e 30-45 miniutes long, to ensure the strength and power adaptions that were achieved pre season are maintained. (Kramer et al., 2002). For a trained athelte it is recommended that 1-2 session per week are carried out in the 'in season' (Baechle & Earle, 2009)
